Saltburn Surf School is the ONLY approved Surf School along the whole East Coast.  We have been fully accredited by the Sports National Governing Body the British Surfing Association.  We have been given the status of a Performance Surf School:

Provide “Foundation and Recreational” programmes

Provide contest & competitive surfer training + recreational advanced surfer programmes

Provide a local community resource programme (kids clubs etc.)

Coaches qualified to BSA levels 1, 2 & 3

We are now fully equipped to offer coaching courses and enable more poeple to become involved in the coaching of surfing.  Zoee is now an approved Coach Educator and will hold courses on behalf of the British Surfing Association

TO BECOME A COACH - Saltburn Surf School is now an approved Training Centre and will be running its first British Surfing Assosiation Level 1 Coaching award on the 4/5th September.  All details of which can be obtained on the link adjacent to the screen.  This will hopefully be the first of many, to enable more people to be part of the surfing coaching system.

SURF CLUB - Surf club has now been running for two years, just as young persons would go to a football club, gymnastics or swimming club, surf club offers youngsters the opportunity to improve their skills by joining the British Surfing Association's Junior Surfers Scheme.  We have now got a dedicated number of members which have advanced tremendously in their surfing skills and remained motivated throughout the winter months. Age restrictions 8 - 16 years old. It is possible to cater for under eights but parents would need to be present on the beach during the sessions. Please also note that we require each child to have participated in a lesson outside of surf club prior to joining.

JUNIOR SURF ACADEMY/KIDS COURSE - We will now be offering Summer surfing courses for junior surfers aged 8-16yrs.  We are expecting these courses to be really popular so please book in advance.  There are limited spaces so for further details please see Surfing Academy link under latest news to the left of the screen. THIS IS A GREAT IDEA TO KEEP THE KIDS OCCUPIED OVER THE HOLIDAYS.

FEMALE SURF ACADEMY - We will also be offering a weekend of surf coaching designed by our female instructor for women that want to discover the addictive sport of surfing.  We will be running courses, suitable for entry level and for those already riding waves.  There are limited spaces so please see Surfing Academy under latest news to the left of the screen for further details.

VIDEO ANALYSIS

We know have the capability to conduct video analysis for those wishing to improve their level of surfing or maybe just get some video footage of themselves.  This will be subject to availability.  Please contact Zoee on 07961714993 or on the above email for further information.
